MY TAKE:
I've never been there, but New York is still one of my favorite cities.

In What's Great about New York, readers are given a quick overview of the history, interesting facts and sites about New York state.

The pictures were nice and really made me feel like I was at the particular locations that were being highlighted. The information in the book were presented in such a manner that kids won't be bored by it or have trouble understanding it.

I also found it nice that it doesn't focus solely on New York City, but also includes the other parts of New York. It's helped me get a clearer picture of the rest of the state and it might help me remember the geography better.
